The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Esteban tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hyoga swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hyoga takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Esteban wants to clinch but Hyoga slips to the side
and Hyoga counters with a left and a right that stings Esteban.
Hyoga could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Esteban fails in his attempt to clinch.
Esteban lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hyoga at a distance.
Hyoga catches Esteban with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Javier Esteban seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
