PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Bross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Martini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bross comes into the arena with Gangstarr - Who Got Gunz blaring out of the sound system. Mario Martini will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bross has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bross is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bross moves into full mount! Martini won't be happy about that!

Martini is in a bad position with Bross working for a choke. Martini manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Martini wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bross, who protects the arm well.

Martini decides to stand back up. Martini steps back and let's Bross get back to his feet.

Bross connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bross throws a hook to the side of Martini's head but Martini sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mario Martini is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bross throws a leg kick which misses Martini's front leg but catches the back leg as Martini tries to avoid it.
Martini moves out of range as Bross strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bross feints and then cracks Martini's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martini down.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Bross will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Oh but Bross is tightening it up a little... Martini has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Martini reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Martini taps out! nice BJJ there by Bross!
