Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Stugatz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paulo Stugatz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bas Severn!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn tries to clinch but Stugatz moves out of range.
Severn wants to clinch.
Stugatz fails with a takedown attempt.
Stugatz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Severn moves away.
Severn throws a right hand that Stugatz ducks under and follows up with a left that Stugatz also avoids with ease.
Stugatz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Good work by Stugatz as he checks the leg kick.
Severn throws a wild body kick that Stugatz sees coming a mile off.
Severn thuds his shin into the meat of Stugatz's side.
Stugatz is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stugatz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Paulo Stugatz has been cut.

Severn drops Stugatz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stugatz looks back up at him and smiles so Severn waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Stugatz ducks into an uppercut from Severn and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bas Severn!
