Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Tatum!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarpi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tatum should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Tatum shoots for a double leg takedown but Scarpi sprawls well. He's pushed Tatum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tatum closes the distance and clinches up with Scarpi, looking for a takedown. Tatum pushes Scarpi against the cage but Scarpi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Scarpi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tatum's head.

It looks like Paul Tatum has been cut.
Scarpi thuds a left hand into Tatum's body.
Scarpi misses the jab.
Tatum shoots in for a double leg but Scarpi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Matteo Scarpi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Tatum.
Scarpi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Matteo Scarpi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scarpi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tatum is trying desperately to land a takedown but Scarpi is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tatum.
Scarpi misses with a body shot

and Tatum counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tatum.
Scarpi is pressed up against the cage. Tatum has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Scarpi down to the mat. Scarpi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Scarpi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tatum moves away.
Scarpi missing with a left hand there. Tatum was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Scarpi connects with a single shot there.
Good shot there by Scarpi.
Scarpi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

That has opened up Paul Tatum's cut even more.
Nice defenses there by Tatum.
Scarpi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tatum.
Scarpi lands the left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Scarpi lands a big right hand that sends Tatum crashing to the mat! Scarpi stays standing though and waves Tatum back to his feet!
Tatum looks winded!
Tatum takes a jab right on the kisser.

The cut above Paul Tatum's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Scarpi thuds a left hand into Tatum's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Scarpi lands a right hook to the body.

Scarpi drops Tatum with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tatum looks back up at him and smiles so Scarpi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Tatum leaves his chin hanging out and Scarpi seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Tatum crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
