Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between KC Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cobber McNamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McNamara is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Kill People - Jon Lajoie. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, KC Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cobber McNamara!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNamara shoots in looking for a takedown but Cooper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McNamara's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cooper is looking to clinch.
Cooper digs a good body shot into McNamara's ribs.
KC Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cooper instigates a clinch.

Cooper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A left and a right from Cooper both land. Nice combination.
Cooper connects with a right hand. McNamara shakes it off.
Cooper lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McNamara takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cooper just misses with a punch to the body.
McNamara takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cooper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McNamara moves away.
Cooper thuds a left hand into McNamara's body.
Nice uppercut lands for Cooper. That snapped McNamara's head back.
Cooper lands with a straight right. McNamara didn't see that one coming.
McNamara avoids the body shot from Cooper.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cooper looks to score with a jab to the body but McNamara is just out of range.

McNamara fails with the takedown.
Cooper will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McNamara walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cooper lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

McNamara scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
McNamara trying to mount his opponent but Cooper defends it.

McNamara is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cooper defends it well.

McNamara looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McNamara uses his free foot to push down on Cooper's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cooper.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McNamara throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

McNamara has control of Cooper's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cooper regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cooper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cooper tries to get out of the position.
Cooper wants to try and get back to his feet.
McNamara fails to move to back control.
McNamara scores with a couple of good head shots there.
McNamara misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
McNamara can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cooper is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cooper is trying to stand.
McNamara landing strikes from the mount and Cooper is in trouble!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

McNamara swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cooper is now in McNamara's guard. A big mistake from McNamara there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McNamara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cooper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cooper wants to control from the top but McNamara keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cobber McNamara will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


McNamara shoots for a double leg takedown but Cooper sprawls well. He's pushed McNamara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
KC Cooper is winning the standup battle so far.
Jab by Cooper.
Cooper swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McNamara.
McNamara closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cooper circles away.
McNamara slips a jab and a cross from Cooper.
Cooper connects with the punch.

Cooper gets a clinch.
McNamara can't get the takedown.
KC Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cobber McNamara.
Cooper throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Cooper lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Cooper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Good standup being displayed there by Cooper as he connects with a hook.
Cooper lands with a cross.
Cooper stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cooper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McNamara.
McNamara looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cooper is fending him off so far but McNamara persists. Nope, Cooper circles away and we're back to standing.
McNamara is breathing heavily.
Cooper lands a right hook to the body.
McNamara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooper.
Cooper ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Cooper scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McNamara looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

McNamara drops his hands momentarily and Cooper takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.


McNamara is rocked!

Cooper jabs McNamara right on the nose. McNamara blinks but takes it well.
McNamara is still on wobbly legs! Can Cooper finish him?
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Cooper - that will leave a mark!
Nice body punch from Cooper.
Cooper wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cooper lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McNamara at a distance.

Cooper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McNamara, pushing him back against the cage.

KC Cooper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cooper lands a right hook to the body.
McNamara walks into a stiff left hand from Cooper.

Cooper takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cooper lands an overhand right.
McNamara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooper as he jumps to the side.
Cooper throws a body punch but McNamara moves out of range.
McNamara walks into a straight right hand from Cooper.
McNamara shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cooper defends it nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Cooper. Those never looked like landing.
Cooper throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Cooper misses with the combination.
McNamara uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooper.

Cooper throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cooper slaps away a takedown attempt from McNamara, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McNamara has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Cooper cracks McNamara with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Cooper moves in looking to clinch but McNamara pushes him off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cooper tries to close the distance and clinch up but McNamara swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McNamara gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cooper just misses with a punch to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Cooper scores with the left hand. McNamara knows he should have avoided that one.
Cooper fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

KC Cooper dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Cooper clobbers McNamara with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McNamara tries to move into range but Cooper moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cooper misses with the combination.
Cooper moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cooper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McNamara.
McNamara takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Cooper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cooper slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cooper's jab looks to have found its range, popping McNamara under the eye.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd cheers as Cooper lands an impressive looking overhand right. McNamara doesn't seem phased though.
Cooper steps in with a hook that catches McNamara right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Cooper follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! McNamara looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KC Cooper!
A very excited looking KC Cooper made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
