Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Argin Karatakayan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boo Tiny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tiny's choice of entrance music: Filth Pig. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karatakayan fails with the takedown.
Karatakayan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tiny sprawls well. Tiny wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Karatakayan gets slowly back to his feet.
Tiny closes the distance but Karatakayan moves to the side

and Karatakayan counters by clinching up.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Tiny.

It looks like Argin Karatakayan has been cut.

Karatakayan tries to break free but Tiny pushes him back against the cage.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tiny can do anything to dispel that myth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tiny trying to keep a closed guard but Karatakayan is proving a slippery customer.

Karatakayan distracts Tiny with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Karatakayan works over Tiny with some ground and pound from guard.
Tiny utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Karatakayan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tiny's head.
Tiny wants to control but Karatakayan passes easily into half guard.
Tiny wants to control but Karatakayan is keeping busy.
Tiny wants to improve his position but Karatakayan is controlling well.
Karatakayan stops Tiny from getting back to his feet.

Tiny has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Karatakayan is working away from the top position though.
Tiny might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Karatakayan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Karatakayan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Boo Tiny hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Tiny keeps the fight on the outside.
Tiny tries to clinch but Karatakayan is having none of it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tiny forces Karatakayan back against the cage and clinches.
Tiny pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Karatakayan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tiny pulls his leg out and moves away.

Karatakayan tries to clinch up.
Tiny looks for the body kick but Karatakayan saw that one coming.

Tiny fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Karatakayan, pushing him back against the cage.
Karatakayan is trying to break the clinch but Tiny is controlling him.
Karatakayan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Karatakayan wants to take the fight to the mat but Tiny manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Karatakayan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tiny gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tiny lands an elbow just above Karatakayan 's eye.

Karatakayan is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Jeez, Argin Karatakayan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
