Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chael Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meg Didion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didion shoots and misses

so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Didion is retaining full guard.
Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Didion uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Didion sprawls well. Didion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Didion lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Didion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gracie is fending him off so far but Didion persists. Nope, Gracie circles away and we're back to standing.
Meg Didion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Didion connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gracie momentarily.

and Didion counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.

Didion would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Didion defends well.

Didion has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from.

Chael Gracie has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Didion as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chael Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gracie looking to score a takedown here. Didion is defending well but Gracie drives through and ends up in Didion's guard.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Didion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Didion manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Didion connects with a looping right hand.
A jab lands there for Didion.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Didion throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.

Didion drops Gracie with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gracie looks back up at him and smiles so Didion waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Didion lands a nice looking body shot.

Didion throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Didion is in Gracie's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Didion wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Didion!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Meg Didion dominated that round.

Didion sends Gracie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Didion is motioning to the referee to let Gracie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Meg Didion seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Gracie walks straight into a right hand from Didion - that's dropped him! Didion jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gracie from any more punishment! Gracie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Meg Didion!
