Sykes misses with a takedown

and Conley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Conley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sykes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Conley is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Sykes wants to control but Conley is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
