The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robillard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ryan misses with a takedown attempt - Robillard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ryan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robillard's waist but Robillard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryan off to one side.
Dominik Robillard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Ryan.
Robillard turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Ryan closes the distance and clinches up with Robillard, looking for a takedown. Ryan pushes Robillard against the cage but Robillard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Robillard scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Robillard throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ryan's head.
Robillard lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
