Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Maye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Saltzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Maye has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maye leaves Saltzman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Saltzman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Maye throws a nice looking combination but Saltzman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Saltzman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Maye quickly recovers to half guard.

That's time! Maye's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Saltzman crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Maye - the referee stops the clock and Saltzman gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Maye. Saltzman manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Saltzman is rocked!
Maye throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Saltzman stumbling backwards into the cage! Saltzman bounces back off the cage towards Maye, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Maye lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Maye celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
