The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campbell misses with a takedown attempt
and Mengel counters with a nice right hand that sends Campbell toppling to the canvas! Campbell scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mengel finish him?!
It looks like Marques Campbell has been cut.
Campbell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Campbell moves out of range as Mengel throws a body kick.
Campbell drops his hands momentarily and Mengel needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Campbell just on the top of the head. Campbell drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Campbell - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). George Mengel!
After the fight, George Mengel was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
