Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrien Lafleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lafleur has chosen Karma to Burn - Two Times as his entrance music. Anderson Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Adrien Lafleur's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A right-left combo lands from Silva.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lafleur circles away quickly and effectively.
Lafleur tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lafleur has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lafleur clinches with his opponent.
Lafleur pulls guard successfully.
Silva wants to stand but Lafleur has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Silva trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lafleur tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Silva is looking to stand up but Lafleur won't let him.

Silva postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva throws a right hand that Lafleur ducks under and follows up with a left that Lafleur also avoids with ease.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Lafleur bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lafleur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lafleur off to one side.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lafleur shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva misses with a double jab.
Anderson Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lafleur throws a lazy uppercut
and Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Lafleur closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lafleur scores with a couple of nice shots.
Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lafleur lands with a punch from half guard.
Silva looks like he's trying to stand up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lafleur connects with a nice short shot to Silva's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lafleur is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lafleur has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lafleur lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Silva! More strikes land and this one is all over! Lafleur jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
