The crowd seem to be enjoying McKeon's choice of entrance music: Power. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKeon smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McKeon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Durden counters with a nice body shot.
Durden throws a left and a right that both miss
and McKeon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Durden comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McKeon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Durden slips under a jab.
Durden scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Mike McKeon has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McKeon misses with a shot to the body

and Durden counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McKeon's guard now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Durden postures up in McKeon's guard and throws a big left but McKeon blocks it.
Durden won't allow McKeon to get back to his feet.

Durden feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McKeons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Durden fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McKeon, pushing him back against the cage.
Durden drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McKeon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Durden is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McKeon pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Durden has picked McKeon up - he's going for a ride! Durden dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Durden is looking to stall here but McKeon recovers full guard.

McKeon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Durden is looking to work some ground and pound but McKeon has wrist control.
Durden looking to sit in guard and control but McKeon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durden wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McKeon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Durden lands a two punch combo.
McKeon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tyler Durden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, jab by McKeon - just one landing.
Durden fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

McKeon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McKeon wants it to stay on the feet.

McKeon throws a series of punches but Durden avoids them all with ease.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Durden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McKeon throws a sloppy head kick and Durden moves out of range easily.

McKeon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A head kick misses from McKeon.
McKeon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Durden sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tyler Durden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Durden throws a right and a left that McKeon avoids nicely.
Durden lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Good leg kick by Durden there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Durden throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Durden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Durden lands with a hook. McKeon tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Durden feints a jab promting McKeon to slip. Durden then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McKeon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McKeon tries to clinch there but Durden circles away.
Durden misses with a wild combination.

and Durden counters with a nice body shot.
Durden throws a combination that misses
and McKeon makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Durden really felt that one!
Durden moves in looking to clinch but McKeon pushes him off.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Durden!
Durden slips a jab from McKeon.
Durden gets in close and tags McKeon with a short punch that almost sends McKeon to the mat! Oh McKeon is in big trouble! He turns his back on Durden, trying to create some distance but Durden rushes him, striking wildly and McKeon goes down! The referee tackles Durden into the cage to end the fight! Durden is one violent man!
