The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kadoic looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Silva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kadoic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Silva's calf.
Silva connects with an inside leg kick.
Silva throws a hook but Kadoic blocks it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kadoic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Silva takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kadoic lands with a kick to the temple. Silva shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Drazen Kadoic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kadoic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Look low, kick high! Kadoic uses the oldest trick in the book to send Silva tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Kadoic is absolutely delighted - when Silva wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
