Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Binzo Binzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Binzo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hair of the Dog by Nazareth kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders misses with a looping right.
Saunders throws a lazy right hand but Binzo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Binzo throws a body punch but Saunders moves out of range.
Binzo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Saunders's head.

It looks like Elliot Saunders has been cut.
Saunders clobbers Binzo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Binzo motions for Saunders to come forward. Binzo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Saunders gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

Saunders tries for a takedown but Binzo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Saunders changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Binzo tries to avoid it but Saunders manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Binzo to the ground. Binzo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elliot Saunders. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Binzo catches Saunders with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Saunders takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Binzo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Saunders scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Elliot Saunders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saunders uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Binzo.

Saunders cracks Binzo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Saunders with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Binzo to score with a decent uppercut.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Binzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saunders swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Binzo wants to control from the top but Saunders keeps moving.

Saunders has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Binzo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Saunders.

Saunders is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Binzo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Saunders sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Binzo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Saunders wants to control but Binzo is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
