The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lii throws a jab when Shaughnessy was well out of range.
Shaughnessy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lii. Lii circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shaughnessy throws out a powerful jab.
Lii throws a jab but it's blocked by Shaughnessy.
Shaughnessy throws a nice looking combination but Lii bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lii throws a big shot that misses.
Lii fails in his attempt to clinch.
Shaughnessy moves out of range of the strikes.
Lii throws a head kick but Shaughnessy moves out of range.
Lii fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Shaughnessy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shaughnessy avoids the head kick by Lii.
Shaughnessy lands a slapping body shot.
Shaughnessy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Shaughnessy lands with a shot to the body.
Shaughnessy jabs Lii right on the nose. Lii blinks but takes it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lii misses with a hook. Shaughnessy ducked under it nicely.

Shaughnessy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Lii takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Shaughnessy connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lii - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
