Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JP Takedown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valko Hai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valko Hai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JP Takedown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Valko Hai!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hai thuds his right hand into Takedown's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Takedown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Takedown walks into a left hand.
Hai scores with a jab to the head.
Takedown misses with a takedown attempt
and Hai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Takedown looks to land a combination but Hai avoids it well.
Hai works the jab nicely.

Takedown is rocked!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Hai throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Takedown is refusing to be controlled, as Hai sits in half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hai might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Takedown haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Valko Hai hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hai fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takedown sprawls well initially but Hai persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Takedown is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hai knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hai for a finish.

Valko Hai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Hai lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hai. Takedown does a little dance to reset his feet.
Takedown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hai throws out the jab.
Takedown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Takedown is defended easily by Hai.
JP Takedown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hai lands a nice shot to the body.
Hai cracks Takedown with a good jab.
Hai lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Takedown at a distance.
Valko Hai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Takedown.
Hai changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Takedown tries for a takedown but Hai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Takedown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hai pinned against the cage. Hai gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Valko Hai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
