The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trujillo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Trujillo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trujillo off to one side.
Trujillo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Jones gets caught napping as Trujillo dives in and scores a takedown. Jones manages to retain guard.
