Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blaise Lamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dai Vernon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamont's entrance music is Twisted Nerve. A fine choice. Vernon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. Dai Vernon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernon jabs Lamont right on the nose. Lamont blinks but takes it well.

Lamont tries to move into range but Vernon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Lamont counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vernon sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Vernon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lamont scores with a couple of nice shots.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lamont throws an overhand right that lands on Vernon's shoulder, as Vernon tries to avoid the shot.

Lamont stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Dai Vernon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vernon scores with a head kick. Lamont tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well Vernon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
