The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pain bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pain working away.

Pain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Eskola has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pain but great work by Eskola.
Eskola tries to stand but Pain is controlling his head.
Pain is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Eskola tries to advance to mount but Pain denies him.
Pain manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Eskola wants to pass to mount but Pain is defending the position.

Pain looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Pain tries to get to full guard but Eskola has control of the leg.
Pain regains full guard. Nicely done.

Pain throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Eskola escapes and throws Pain's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Pain is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pain gets back to half guard.
Pain is trying to control but can't.
Pain moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Eskola looking to sit in guard and control but Pain gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Pain postures up and lands a big shot to Eskola's brow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Eskola controls Pain momentarily but Pain frees himself.
Eskola wants to stand up but Pain is controlling him.
Pain trying to control but Eskola is working from the bottom.
Pain is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Pain trying to control the position from guard on top but Eskola is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pain trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Pain is looking to work some ground and pound but Eskola has wrist control.
Pain stands up over Eskola, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Pain throwing strikes from guard but Eskola blocks nicely.
Pain looking to pass the guard.
Pain scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Eskola manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pain manages to get himself to full guard.

Eskola stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pain throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Pain is looking to cinch up a triangle. Eskola throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pain's body to avoid the submission. Pain has instead reached around Eskola's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pain arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mr Pain!
Mr Pain gave a mention to Amsterdam in London 95% Laundry in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
