Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Simon Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz closes the distance looking to clinch

and Sanders moves into the clinch.
Diaz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sanders after a bit of a struggle.
Sanders is stalling here.
Diaz tries to pull guard but Sanders forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Sanders has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Sanders jumps into guard, dragging Diaz to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sanders avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sanders thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Sanders is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Diaz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
