Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Castaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tapsumaneyi Moyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moyo has chosen Francky Vincent - Fruit de la passion as his entrance music. Tapsumaneyi Moyo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moyo ducks right into an uppercut from Castaway.
Castaway waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Moyo.
Moyo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Moyo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castaway as he jumps to the side.
Castaway jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Castaway scores with a three punch combo!
Moyo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Castaway as he avoids it easily.
Castaway looks to land a left hand but Moyo moved out of range nicely.
Castaway misses with a series of wild punches.
Moyo dives in and grabs Castaway's left leg, looking for a takedown. Castaway pushes down on Moyo's head and hops out.
The Castaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapsumaneyi Moyo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moyo tries for a takedown but Castaway sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Moyo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castaway as he jumps to the side.

Moyo goes for a takedown attempt but Castaway pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Castaway tries to bum rush Moyo with a series of wild strikes but Moyo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Moyo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Castaway avoids it really well and circles away.

Moyo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Castaway did well to prevent Moyo getting side control.

Castaway pushes Moyo off and gets back to his feet.

Castaway feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Moyos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Moyo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moyo lands in his opponent's guard.

Castaway lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moyo!
Moyo is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Moyo tries to hold on but Castaway postures up.
Castaway can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moyo is looking to escape.
Moyo manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Moyo tries to roll over but Castaway keeps him under control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Castaway is looking to take a break and control but Moyo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Castaway knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moyo on the ground.
Castaway is pressing down on Moyo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Moyo is holding on for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Castaway's corner calls for a 1-2. Castaway obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Moyo gets a double leg takedown into Castaway's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moyo stands up over Castaway, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Moyo is pushing down on Castaway's leg trying to pass to half guard. Castaway is fighting to maintain full guard but Moyo has managed to sneak the leg through.
Moyo is looking to take a break and control but Castaway is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Castaway is looking to control Moyo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Castaway avoid being mounted?

Moyo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Moyo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Moyo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Moyo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Moyo is rocked!
Moyo looks up at the clock. Bad move! Castaway lands a right hand from hell, dropping Moyo. Castaway pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
