The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pharion shoots in and bounces Zimmerman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pharion wants to control from the top but Zimmerman keeps moving.
Pharion's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Pharion is working Zimmerman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Pharion connects with a couple of short punches.
Pharion postures up in Zimmerman's guard and throws a big left but Zimmerman blocks it.
Pharion throws a strike but Zimmerman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pharion wriggles free and stands up.

Zimmerman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pharion's head.

and Pharion counters with a shoot takedown. Zimmerman fights it but they end up in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pharion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pharion postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pharion stands up over Zimmerman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Pharion cracks Zimmerman with a solid left hand.

Pharion gets to his feet and stands over Zimmerman, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Zimmerman felt that one! Pharion unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Zimmerman from any more punishment!
