Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Vallely!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Dameshek!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dameshek swats away the attempt to clinch by Vallely.
Vallely tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dameshek paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dameshek blocks a jab.
Vallely is looking to clinch but Dameshek is avoiding it.
Vallely fails with an attempt to clinch.

Vallely moves into the clinch.
Vallely has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Dameshek being controlled against the cage.
Dameshek wants to take the fight to the mat but Vallely manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dameshek goes for a takedown attempt but Vallely pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A big left from Vallely misses.

Vallely moves into range and clinches up with Dameshek.
Vallely makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Dameshek tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mike Vallely has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Dameshek.
Dameshek is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Vallely gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Dameshek drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dameshek can't get the takedown.
Vallely scores with a hook to the body.

Vallely breaks the clinch.

Vallely has taken the fight to the clinch.

Vallely has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dameshek clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Vallely keeps control of the position as Dameshek tries to break free.
Dameshek prevents Vallely from getting a body triangle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vallely lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Vallely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dameshek is trying to remain composed but Vallely is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Dameshek trying to control but not successfully.
Dameshek is trapped and Vallely is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Vallely is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dameshek is defending well though. Vallely let's go of the attempt for now.
Dameshek is in bad spot here.
Dameshek trying to control but not successfully.
Dameshek tries to roll but Vallely sticks to his back.
Vallely gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Vallely tightening his grip on Dameshek, looking for the choke.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vallely is looking to finish with some ground and pound!
Dameshek tries to break free.
Vallely struggling to land strikes to the head as Dameshek covers up.
Vallely trying to control momentarily.
Vallely is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dameshek is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dameshek looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Vallely is landing with strikes. Dameshek can't take much more of this.

Vallely lands with a hammerfist to the side of Dameshek's head.
Dameshek can't escape the position.
Vallely gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Vallely has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vallely controlling well, preventing Dameshek from escaping the position.
Dameshek covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Vallely is working the ground and pound. Can Dameshek escape?


Dameshek is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dameshek looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Vallely landing with strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Vallely dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Vallely gets a double leg takedown into Dameshek's guard.
Dameshek is still in real trouble! Can Vallely finish him?
Vallely lands a couple of elbows.
Vallely gets to his feet and stands over Dameshek, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Dameshek felt that one! Vallely unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Dameshek from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Vallely!
A less than humble Mike Vallely misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
