Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eaton Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Uppercut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uppercut comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I present to you; The Amazing Human Being kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eaton Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lance Uppercut!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uppercut misses with an uppercut.
Uppercut connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cox. Cox circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Cox throws a nice looking combination but Uppercut bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cox drops his hands momentarily and Uppercut takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cox misses with a straight left.
Uppercut misses the shot to the body.
No luck for Uppercut with that takedown attempt.
Uppercut misses the shot to the body.
Cox swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Uppercut throws a big shot that misses.
Uppercut checks a low kick from Cox.
Uppercut tries to bum rush Cox with a series of wild strikes but Cox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Uppercut stuns Cox with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Uppercut throws the left hand but Cox avoids the punch easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cox darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cox prevents Uppercut from improving his position.

Uppercut looking for submissions off his back.
Cox tries to pass to full mount but Uppercut defends it.
Uppercut regains full guard. Nicely done.
Cox trying to control but Uppercut is working from the bottom.
Cox is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cox sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Uppercut's guard.
Uppercut regains full guard. Nicely done.

Uppercut has an active guard here but Cox has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cox thows a huge punch but Uppercut dodges it nicely.
Cox missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Uppercut is looking for a sweep. Cox is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cox throwing shots but Uppercut is blocking nicely.
Cox tries to pass the half guard into mount. Uppercut knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Uppercut is looking to improve his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cox connects with a nice short shot to Uppercut's temple.

Cox prevents Uppercut from improving his position.
Cox wants to take a breather but Uppercut is having none of it.
Uppercut makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Uppercut.
Cox wants to control from the top but Uppercut keeps moving.
Cox postures up and lands a big shot to Uppercut's brow.
Cox won't allow Uppercut to sweep him here.
Uppercut working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cox.
Cox throws a big elbow that misses.

Uppercut is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cox stopping the sweep attempt from Uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Uppercut controls Cox momentarily but Cox frees himself.
Cox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cox with a nice head shot there.
Cox lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Uppercut looking to control.
Uppercut working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cox.
Cox trying to control the position from guard on top but Uppercut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cox is really struggling to control Uppercut but he's trying to hold on to the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Uppercut has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cox should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Uppercut has tightened it up now! Cox should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
