The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aikawa jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hovi thuds his right hand into Aikawa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Hovi lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Love Aikawa has been cut.

Aikawa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hovi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hovi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aikawa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hovi has managed to get both his arms back between Aikawa's legs - danger averted.
Hovi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Oh but Aikawa is tightening it up a little... Hovi has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hovi reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hovi taps out! Nice BJJ there by Aikawa!
