Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robin Godbeard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroyuki Saitou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godbeard comes into the arena with God Save the Queen blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Saitou - just one landing.

Saitou has Godbeard up against the cage in a clinch.

Saitou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Saitou throws a series of punches but Godbeard moves out of range.

Saitou has Godbeard up against the cage in a clinch.
Godbeard throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Saitou blocks it with crossed arms.

Saitou bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Godbeard's head backwards.
Saitou dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Saitou drops Godbeard with a beautiful combination! Godbeard stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Saitou is looking for the KO!

Godbeard is rocked!

Saitou cracks Godbeard with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Saitou has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Godbeard to stand back up!
Oh Godbeard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Saitou connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Saitou fails to land with a series of punches.
Godbeard throws a sloppy head kick and Saitou moves out of range easily.
Saitou looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Saitou counters with a crisp one two that drops Godbeard! Saitou thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Godbeard to his feet! Godbeard is in big trouble!

and Saitou makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Godbeard is breathing heavily.
Godbeard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Saitou drops Godbeard with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Godbeard looks back up at him and smiles so Saitou waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Crack! Saitou connects with the perfect overhand right and Godbeard falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Saitou!
