The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Shine.
No joy there for Shine, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dahmer tries for a takedown but Shine circles away easily
and Shine counters with a leg kick.
Dahmer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shine sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dahmer somewhat.
A head kick misses from Shine.
Shine just misses with a punch to the body.
Dahmer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Shine counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sun Shine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Dahmer.
Dahmer shoots for a double leg takedown but Shine sprawls well. He's pushed Dahmer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shine lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dahmer's sensitive parts.
Shine smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Shine counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Dahmer looks for a takedown but Shine sprawls well.

and Shine counters with a slapping leg kick.
Sun Shine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dahmer scores with a takedown into Shine's guard.
Shine pushes Dahmer off and gets back to his feet.
Dahmer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shine to the ground. Dahmer is now in Shine's guard.
Dahmer wants to pass the guard but Shine is keeping the position.

Dahmer wants to free his trapped foot but Shine is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dahmer uses his free foot to push down on Shine's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shine.

Shine tries to lock up and control but Dahmer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dahmer jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Shine manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Dahmer has hold of Shine's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Shine seems comfortable defending it but Dahmer has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Shine is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Shine is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Dahmer couldn't care less - he's delighted!
