Hudson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cruz.
Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown but Hudson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cruz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Cruz fails to land with a series of punches.
Cruz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hudson defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hudson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cruz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hudson drops Cruz with a beautiful combination! Cruz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hudson is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OH! Cruz has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Hudson smells blood and charges in for the finish! Hudson unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Cruz sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
