Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert E Conan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Cirus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cirus has chosen Lonely Boy - The Black Keys as his entrance music. The key to victory for Robert E Conan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cirus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cirus takes a swing at Conan's ribcage but misses.
Cirus fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cirus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cirus throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Conan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cirus is in Conan's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cirus trying to control the position from guard on top but Conan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cirus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Conan is trying to control the position but Cirus postures up.

Conan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cirus lands a couple of digs.
Cirus works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Conan is looking for a sweep. Cirus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Conan tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Cirus passes to side control.

Conan bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Cirus looks to land a left hand but Conan moved out of range nicely.
Conan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Tom Cirus has been cut.
Conan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Conan misses with a body kick.
Cirus moves to clinch but Conan breaks away
and Conan counters with a flying knee. Nice.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cirus shoots in but Conan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cirus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Robert E Conan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Conan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Conan. Cirus shrugs it off though.
Conan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Cirus fails with the takedown.

Cirus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cirus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cirus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Conan pinned against the ropes. Conan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Conan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cirus's sensitive parts.

Conan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cirus walks into a straight right hand from Conan.
Conan throws a shot to the body.
Cirus tries to close the distance and clinch but Conan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Cirus 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cirus throws a lazy right hand but Conan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cirus throws a jab but it's blocked by Conan.
Conan digs a good hook to Cirus's body.
Conan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Cirus misses with a hook
and Conan counters with a leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Conan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Conan cracks the inside of Cirus's front leg.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters circling a little - Conan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Conan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cirus moves out of range as Conan throws a body kick.
Conan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Conan, right into the meat.
Cirus takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Conan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Conan feints and then cracks Cirus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cirus down.
Cirus throws a hook but Conan avoids it easily.
Conan thows a body shot but no joy.

Conan throws a head kick that half lands.

Cirus is rocked!
Conan misses with a double jab.
Cirus is still on wobbly legs! Can Conan finish him?
The fighters circle, before Conan throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Cirus's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Conan lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
