Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Pae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CM Punk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punk has chosen Cult of Personality as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk fails with a takedown attempt.

Punk is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pae is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Punk.

Punk jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pae walks away with a smile on his face. Punk gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Punk decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Punk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pae tries to avoid it but Punk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pae to the ground. Pae escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Punk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Punk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pae sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Punk somewhat.

Punk is rocked!
Punk finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Pae's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Punk falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
