Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trent Profittt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Guloev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guloev shoots in and gets a takedown into Profittt's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Guloev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Profittt's head.
Guloev tries to free his leg and advance position but Profittt is retaining full guard.
Profittt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guloev on the ground.
Guloev lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Profittt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Guloev is looking to work some ground and pound but Profittt has wrist control.
Profittt wants to get back to his feet but Guloev is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Profittt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Guloev throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Guloev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Profittt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Guloev takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Guloev lands a nice short elbow.
Oh Profittt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guloev lands a big elbow - Profittt is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Guloev!
