Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gus Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Papillon. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Ferguson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dengel with a poor takedown
and Ferguson counters with a head kick.
Gus Dengel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dengel leaves Ferguson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ferguson closes the distance and clinches up with Dengel, looking for a takedown. Ferguson pushes Dengel against the cage but Dengel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ferguson tries to sprawl but Dengel drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ferguson is trying to maintain the position but Dengel is very close to passing his half guard.
Dengel slows the pace down in half guard.
Dengel working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Dengel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dengel is trying for a kimura here. Ferguson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dengel wins by kimura!
