The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Roussow connects with a high kick.
Roussow cracks Steel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Steel throws a hook but Roussow avoids it easily.
Roussow connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Roussow showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Steel.

Mike Roussow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roussow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Steel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Steel has had enough of the clinch but Roussow keeps him there for the moment.
A right hook to the body lands for Roussow.

Roussow pulls guard effortlessly.

Steel is sitting in close to Roussow's body. Roussow has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Steel is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Steel is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Roussow.
