Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Lennon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christopher Lennon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kyle Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lennon.
Christopher Lennon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcia fails to land with a series of punches.

Lennon gets caught flat footed, as Garcia shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Garcia passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Garcia working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Lennon prevents Garcia from improving position.
Lennon can't do much from the bottom here.
Lennon tries to bench press Garcia off him but Garcia keeps the position.

Garcia decides to stand back up. Garcia steps back and let's Lennon get back to his feet.

and Garcia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Garcia sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lennon's guard.

Garcia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lennon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Garcia.

Garcia drops back looking for a leg! Lennon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lennon manages to kick Garcia off! Garcia jumps back into Lennon's guard.

Garcia is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lennon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lennon has escaped and now he's on top!

Garcia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lennon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Garcia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Garcia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lennon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lennon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Garcia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lennon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Garcia is on top in guard.

Lennon wants to stand and escape but Garcia is having none of it.
Lennon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kyle Garcia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lennon is defending against the submission attempts here by Garcia.

Garcia seems to be looking for submissions.
Lennon tries to roll over but Garcia keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Garcia had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lennon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Garcia Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lennon's back instead.

Kyle Garcia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Garcia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
