The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Song connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Demaestri's hands.
Song slaps away a takedown attempt from Demaestri, before circling back to the center of the mat.

KangHo Song has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Eduardo Demaestri.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Demaestri shoots for a double leg takedown but Song sprawls well. He's pushed Demaestri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Demaestri tries to move into range but Song moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
and Song counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Demaestri! He's just covering up as Song starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

KangHo Song gave a mention to Gojira Industries in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
