Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Knarles Grunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sevent Seagull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grunt comes into the arena with BLUNT- The Iron Maiden blaring out of the sound system. Seagull has chosen Van Halen - Jump as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sevent Seagull was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seagull tries to move into range but Grunt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Seagull counters with a head kick. That will keep Grunt thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Seagull fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Grunt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Seagull lands with an uppercut that bounces Grunt off the cage and back into range.

and Seagull counters with a nice low kick that buckles Grunt's knee momentarily.

Grunt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seagull swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Grunt misses with a left hand
and Seagull cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Grunt misses with a body shot.
Grunt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Grunt avoids a kick to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Seagull, right into the meat.
Grunt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seagull was well out of range. Poor timing from Grunt.
Grunt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Seagull tries to avoid it but Grunt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Seagull to the ground. Seagull escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Seagull shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Grunt swings for the body but Seagull moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Seagull tries to stand but Grunt is controlling from the bottom.

Seagull gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Grunt changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Seagull lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Grunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Grunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Grunt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seagull walks away with a smile on his face. Grunt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Grunt shoots in for a takedown but Seagull shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
