Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ira Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onizuka Stresemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stresemann has chosen Takashi Sorimachi - Poison as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ira Stein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Onizuka Stresemann!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stresemann shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stein manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stresemann trying to control the position from guard on top but Stein is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stresemann works over Stein with some ground and pound from guard.
Stein keeping full guard, as Stresemann tries to pass.
Stresemann advances to half guard.

Stresemann tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stein knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Stresemann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stein keeps working.
Stresemann keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Stresemann wants to advance to full mount but Stein doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Stein on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stein tries to get out of the position.
Stresemann won't allow Stein to sweep him here.
Stein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Stresemann pushes down on Stein's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Stresemann works his foot free and advances to mount.
Stresemann thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Stresemann jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stein manages to avoid the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stresemann tries to advance to mount but can't.
Stein is not content to let Stresemann control the position.
Stresemann throws an elbow but Stein slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stresemann tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stresemann has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Stresemann has knee on belly momentarily but Stein bucks him off and regains half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stresemann wants to pass to mount but Stein is defending the position.
Stein is trying to maintain the position but Stresemann is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stresemann tries to pass to full mount but Stein defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Onizuka Stresemann dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Stein misses with a double jab.
Stein looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Stresemann scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A big right from Stresemann misses.
Stein misses with a hook
and Stresemann counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stein misses with an uppercut. Stresemann saw that one coming.
Stresemann misses with a hook.
Stein waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stresemann.
Stresemann scores with a jab.
Stein looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Stein misses with a looping right.
Stresemann lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stein backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stein throws a hook but Stresemann avoids it easily.

Stresemann darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Stresemann is looking to take a break and control but Stein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stresemann throwing shots but Stein is blocking nicely.

Stresemann seems to be working for a kimura but Stein defends the submission attempt.
Stresemann stops Stein from getting back to his feet.
Stresemann is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Stresemann looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stresemann is working for a kimura but Stein is defending it quite comfortably.

Stresemann is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stein is just riding it out for now. Stresemann eventually gives up the hold.
Stresemann frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stein looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

Stresemann has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Stein is defending well but eventually Stresemann manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Stein has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Onizuka Stresemann!
A very excited looking Onizuka Stresemann rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
