The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luiz dodges the punch combination from Aldo.
Aldo throws a right hand that Luiz ducks under and follows up with a left that Luiz also avoids with ease.
Aldo misses with a wild combination.
Bruno Luiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Luiz lands a big head kick that sends Aldo tumbling to the mat! Luiz takes a step backwards and waves Aldo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
