Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clark Channell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Clark Channell has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Clark Channell seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey just misses with a punch to the body.
Channell lands a jab.
A lazy left from Dempsey finds it's target.
Dempsey punishes Channell's body with a nice straight punch.

Channell gets a double leg takedown into Dempsey's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Channell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Channell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dempsey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dempsey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dempsey!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Dempsey wants to stand but Channell has his arm trapped.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dempsey tries to control but Channell wriggling away.

Dempsey manages to capitalize on a mistake by Channell to take his back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Channell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dempsey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Channell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dempsey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Dempsey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
