Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arto Byyri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Arto Byyri!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byyri defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rivera.
Arto Byyri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rivera shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Byyri as he avoids it easily.
Rivera dives in and grabs Byyri's left leg, looking for a takedown. Byyri pushes down on Rivera's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mountain Rivera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Byyri bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rivera's head.
Byyri fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rivera on the side of the head.
Rivera shoots for a takedown but Byyri saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rivera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rivera dives in and grabs Byyri's left leg, looking for a takedown. Byyri pushes down on Rivera's head and hops out.
Byyri scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Byyri fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Byyri wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rivera wants to clinch.

Oh Rivera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rivera. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Rivera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rivera shoots in for a takedown but Byyri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rivera seems to have got his legs back now.

Byyri stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Byyri wants it to stay on the feet.
Byyri pounces like a tiger and cracks Rivera with a vicious hook! Rivera is down but not out! Byyri follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
