Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Gonzales looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Gonzales shoots in looking for a takedown but Powell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gonzales 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Powell throws a leg kick but Gonzales sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Powell leaves Gonzales with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gonzales has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Powell is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gonzales .

Powell swings around for an armbar but Gonzales sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Powell 's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Powell can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gonzales decides to stand back up. Gonzales steps back and let's Powell get back to his feet.
Gonzales displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Powell .

Powell darts in and clinches Gonzales up against the cage.
Gonzales jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Powell walks away with a smile on his face. Gonzales gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Powell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
