Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morimoto slaps away a takedown attempt from Maanpohja, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Morimoto shoots in but Maanpohja avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Morimoto is defended easily by Maanpohja.
Maanpohja looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Morimoto closes the distance and clinches.
Maanpohja is trying to trip Morimoto. He has hold of a leg but Morimoto is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Maanpohja persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Maanpohja wants to control from the top but Morimoto keeps moving.

Maanpohja thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Morimoto keeping full guard, as Maanpohja tries to pass.
Maanpohja postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Morimoto is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Maanpohja, into his guard.
Morimoto content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Maanpohja has locked up a guillotine! Maanpohja's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Morimoto is holding on here and Maanpohja must be using up a lot of energy. Morimoto has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Maanpohja gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
