The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li misses the jab.
Arvanitidis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Li works Arvanitidis's body with a nice hook.
Arvanitidis misses with a few strikes there.
Arvanitidis walks into a stiff left hand from Li.

Arvanitidis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Li moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Li uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Arvanitidis.
Li pivots, looking for a leg kick but Arvanitidis is out of range and Li settles back down.
Li tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Arvanitidis is able to avoid easily.
Sloppy strikes from Arvanitidis. Those never looked like landing.

Arvanitidis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Arvanitidis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Li moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Arvanitidis checks the leg kick nicely there.
Li scores with a jab. Arvanitidis acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Arvanitidis misses with a two punch combination.
Li pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Li lets loose with a powerful body kick. Arvanitidis will feel that in the morning.
Li connects with a nice looking jab.
Arvanitidis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Li lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Arvanitidis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Arvanitidis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Arvanitidis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Li.
Li throws a leg kick which misses Arvanitidis's front leg but catches the back leg as Arvanitidis tries to avoid it.
Arvanitidis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Li.
Li tries to land a front kick but Arvanitidis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Li lands a nice hook to Arvanitidis's body. Arvanitidis takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Li walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Arvanitidis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Li counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Li pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Arvanitidis fails to land with a series of punches.
Arvanitidis takes a jab right on the kisser.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Li throws a leg kick which misses Arvanitidis's front leg but catches the back leg as Arvanitidis tries to avoid it.
Arvanitidis lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like Xiao Long Li has been cut.
A left lands for Arvanitidis.
Li throws a body punch but Arvanitidis moves out of range.
Li throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Arvanitidis crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Li - the referee stops the clock and Arvanitidis gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Li. Arvanitidis manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Li lands a nice looking body kick.
Arvanitidis gets in close and tags Li with a short punch that almost sends Li to the mat! Oh Li is in big trouble! He turns his back on Arvanitidis, trying to create some distance but Arvanitidis rushes him, striking wildly and Li goes down! The referee tackles Arvanitidis into the cage to end the fight! Arvanitidis is one violent man!
