The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Guida tries to clinch but Sharbutt moves out of range.
Guida misses with a two punch combination.
Sharbutt looks to clinch
and Guida counters with a series of strikes. Sharbutt will be more careful next time no doubt.
Guida throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sharbutt is trying to break the clinch but Guida has him pressed against the cage.

Guida jumps into guard, dragging Sharbutt to the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Guida has his foot on Sharbutt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sharbutt works his way back into a safe position though.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Guida holds on and takes a little breather.

Guida looks to land a combination but Sharbutt avoids it well.
Guida will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Guida shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sharbutt's guard.
