Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buretta Gali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fujika Kaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buretta Gali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fujika Kaguchi!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gali shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kaguchi's guard.
Kaguchi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

and Kaguchi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Kaguchi wants the takedown. Gali is fighting it off but Kaguchi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gali's guard against the cage.

Gali escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kaguchi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gali knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaguchi on the ground.

Gali on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gali tries to get out of the position.

Kaguchi gets to his feet. Gali looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kaguchi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gali but Gali pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gali feints and then cracks Kaguchi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kaguchi down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gali tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kaguchi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Gali shoots in looking for a takedown. Kaguchi tries to sprawl out of it but Gali keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kaguchi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gali shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kaguchi as he jumps to the side.
Gali throws a combination. Kaguchi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Kaguchi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gali.

Gali changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kaguchi tries to avoid it but Gali manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kaguchi to the ground. Kaguchi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gali closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Gali wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kaguchi, who protects the arm well.

I would just about give that final round to Fujika Kaguchi.
