Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Sixy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pudzianowski has chosen Foxy Shazam - Killin' it as his entrance music. Mariusz Pudzianowski will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sixy pushes Pudzianowski up against the cage in a clinch.
Sixy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Sixy throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sixy scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Mariusz Pudzianowski has been cut.
Pudzianowski avoids a wild elbow strike from Sixy.
Pudzianowski blocks the elbow strike.
Sixy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pudzianowski gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sixy lands a damaging elbow.
Sixy gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Sixy misses with an elbow over the top.

Sixy jumps into guard, dragging Pudzianowski to the mat.
Sixy wants to stand but Pudzianowski is controlling the position.

Pudzianowski decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sixy, up you get!
Pudzianowski swats away the attempt to clinch by Sixy.
Sixy wants to clinch up but Pudzianowski keeps it at a distance.
Sixy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pudzianowski.
Pudzianowski shoots for a takedown but Sixy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pudzianowski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sixy tries to avoid it but Pudzianowski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sixy to the ground. Sixy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shannon Sixy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Pudzianowski.

Pudzianowski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sixy's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pudzianowski's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Pudzianowski prevents Sixy from getting back to his feet.
Pudzianowski controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sixy is breathing heavily.
Pudzianowski is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mariusz Pudzianowski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Sixy slaps away a takedown attempt from Pudzianowski, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pudzianowski lands a high kick!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sixy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pudzianowski finds it's way round the side to connect with Sixy's head.

Pudzianowski keeps the fight on the outside.
Mariusz Pudzianowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pudzianowski shoots in and bounces Sixy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Sixy has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pudzianowski off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pudzianowski looks to land a combination. Sixy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Sixy clinches up with Pudzianowski and pushes him back against the cage.
Sixy pushes off an throws an elbow but Pudzianowski leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Pudzianowski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Sixy tries to break the clinch but Pudzianowski is controlling the position.
Sixy tries to pull guard but Pudzianowski won't allow it.
Pudzianowski is looking to break free of the clinch but Sixy has double underhooks.

Sixy is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Sixy lands a nice elbow.
Pudzianowski blocks the elbow strike.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sixy tries to stall but Pudzianowski uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A frustrated look appears on Sixy's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Sixy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Pudzianowski is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Sixy leaves Pudzianowski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sixy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pudzianowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sixy shoots in but Pudzianowski avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pudzianowski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sixy takes one to the side of the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pudzianowski.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sixy is looking to clinch.
Sixy misses with a looping left.
Sixy is looking to clinch but Pudzianowski is avoiding it.
Pudzianowski batters Sixy with a massive right followed by a huge left! Sixy is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Pudzianowski lands a final crushing right hand to drop Sixy to the mat with a gruesome thud! Pudzianowski is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
