Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rory Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Falling Down by Staind. Gracie has chosen Nervecell - Psychogenocide as his entrance music. Robbin Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Diaz lands with a thumping leg kick.
Diaz fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Diaz.
Diaz moves forwards but Gracie connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Diaz misses with the combination.
Diaz jabs at Gracie's body.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely.
Gracie needs to keep his hands up - Diaz had a free shot at his head there.

and Diaz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rory Diaz dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Diaz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gracies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Diaz tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gracie is able to avoid easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gracie misses with an uppercut. Diaz saw that one coming.
Rory Diaz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Diaz cracks Gracie with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Diaz throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gracie's head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diaz's waist but Diaz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Rory Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robbin Gracie.

Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Diaz, as that shot connected.

Diaz lands with an overhand left.
No joy there for Gracie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diaz cracks Gracie on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Gracie falls backwards against the cage. Diaz follows up with more strikes that drop Gracie to his knees. Diaz keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Gracie! This one is all over!
