Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Nitschke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarik Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Damian Nitschke has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Damian Nitschke seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nitschke.
Nitschke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Gibson slaps away a takedown attempt from Nitschke, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gibson leaves Nitschke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gibson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nitschke rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gibson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gibson.
Nitschke misses with an uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Nitschke checks a low kick from Gibson.
Gibson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gibson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Nitschke is out of range and Gibson settles back down.
Gibson scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Damian Nitschke has been cut.
Gibson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gibson lands a nice shot to the body.
Gibson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Gibson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nitschke doesn't seem phased though.
Gibson loads up on a big right hand but Nitschke slips the punch.
Gibson thows a body shot but no joy.
Nitschke on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Nitschke is rocked!
Gibson seems to be stalking Nitschke here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Nitschke drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
