Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clyde Renato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Nick James has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nick James seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

James drives through with a takedown into guard.

Renato tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but James wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

James is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Renato is just riding it out for now. James eventually gives up the hold.

James wants to work for an arm triangle but Renato is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Renato is looking to control James's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Renato avoid being mounted?

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
